    Bathroom Organization Solutions

Having an organized home makes life much more manageable, especially in the spaces we use the most. In particular, bathroom organization can make our daily routines run smoothly. Moreover, cabinets and countertops are much easier to use if they are neat and accessible.

Of course, we can’t all hire a professional organizer to remake our spaces. But luckily, there are some simple solutions that can make a world of difference. More importantly, you can tackle them yourself with a few minute’s time and a couple of small items.

Bathroom Organization in Minutes

From skincare to first aid, bathrooms can accumulate a ton of products. Additionally, we are reaching for many of them every day. Get your storage in order with these tips.

Medicine Cabinet Organization

  • Use your bottom shelf for only the items that you use daily. Group the items by type so you can find them easily. (prescriptions, cosmetics, dental)
  • Consider purchasing clear organizing solutions for the cabinet so that you can pull down exactly what you need without disturbing everything else on the shelf.
  • If you find your cabinets filled with over the counter medications, consider moving them below your sink. You can purchase a small storage drawer to get them organized. Simplify further by adding labels (first aid, allergy, cold & flu) to the drawers.

Under the Sink Organization

  • Avoid digging into the back of your cabinet by installing a roll out tray like this. Not only can it save you from squatting down to see into the cabinet, but it also makes it easy to take inventory of what you have on hand.
  • Another space saving and organization trick is to use a wire basket on the backside of your cabinet door. In addition to utilizing more space, it’s also the perfect place to keep awkward to store items like styling tools.
  • You can also keep overstock of tissues or toilet paper under your sink. Use a plastic bin with an easy-to-open lid so that any potential leaks will keep your products dry.

Drawer Organization

  • Try using small bins or utensil organizers in your bathroom drawers to keep things together, and avoid overfilling.
  • If you have a deeper drawer, you can fold hand towels, washcloths or bath towels and place in bins. Try the KonMari method of folding towels to maximize space.

Countertop Organization

  • To keep your bathroom neat and organized, try to avoid keeping too much on your countertops. If you prefer them there, a lazy susan is a great solution. Aside from keeping things in one place, it also makes cleaning your counters a breeze!
  • Other options include using an old cake stand or tired fruit holder to store your items.

With these small steps, you can begin to get your bathroom more organized in minutes!
